11/11 Birth Prep Class at RiverHaven Birth Center

Join Beloved Birthing & Babies on Saturday, November 11, from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. for a birth prep class. This childbirth prep class for couples is designed to empower and educate about the labor and birth process. The class will cover all types of birth, to prepare and educate each couple as they approach the big day. We will incorporate time for questions, interactive learning, and spend time practicing hands-on comfort techniques. See below for some of the topics to be discussed.

  • Stages of labor

  • Pelvic stations, dilation and effacement

  • Positions for labor

  • Partner-involved positions

  • Cesareans

  • Breastfeeding and infant care 

RiverHaven Birth Center is located at 330 Winding River Ln, Charlottesville Va., 22911. Because there is limited space and we want each couple to get plenty of hands-on time, we can only accommodate the first four couples to register.
